Thanks for visiting my website today.
I’ve represented my client’s interests in the purchase and sale of real estate since 1991—that’s more than thirty years and a quarter of a billion dollars in transactional work!
During that time, I’ve successfully guided hundreds of satisfied clients, in all price points, through this important transition. Many of them have used my services multiple times and have become close friends during the process.
I believe that my success is due to the fact that I am much more interested in the long-term relationships that I can build with people than just “making a sale.” My business model is to work closely with each of my clients. You won’t be handed off to an assistant—you’ll have my personal attention. In other words, the person that you meet when we decide to work together is the same person you will have throughout the entire process of selling your home, or buying a new one.
Over the years I’ve established a team of talented and reliable people to address the needs of my clients: lenders, home inspectors, painters, and stagers, to name just a few. By working with the best people in the industry, I am able to resolve situations quickly and keep my clients’ transactions on track and on budget.
I bring a broad range of skill sets to my business as a Realtor. Prior to real estate, I was a design engineer with Honeywell, and I’ve got a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Minnesota. I also own and manage investment real estate and was a co-owner of Bridge Street Homes, a boutique development company specializing in classically styled luxury home construction, for over ten years.
I hold the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) Designation and the Graduate of Real Institute (GRI) Designation because I believe in knowing all I can about my industry. That kind of learning is an on-going process in my career. I bring up-to-date knowledge on all aspects of the ever-changing world of real estate.
I’m a native Minnesotan, born and raised in Thief River Falls. My wife Jo and I raised our two children, Charlie and Alexa, in the Minneapolis Lakes area, where we continue to live along with one scrappy little dog named Mocha.
I also believe in service to my industry, and volunteer works. I am currently a proud sponsor of the Minneapolis Boys’ Hockey team. For more information about my awards and my industry service to national, state and local Realtor® associations, please go to my Service & Awards page.
